Focus Areas

Tiffany’s practice focuses on the defense of those who have been accused  of violating criminal and regulatory laws. Her principal focus is on criminal cases and jury trials. She has experience with a wide range of issues, including:

  • Doctors and other licensed professionals under investigation

  • Complex criminal cases

  • Homicide

  • Sexual assault

  • Firearms offenses

  • Drug conspiracy

  • Property crimes

  • Assault

  • Other felonies and misdemeanors

  • Administrative proceedings

Tiffany is a skilled litigator, problem solver, and trial attorney. She sharpened her research and writing skills as an associate at one of the largest civil law firms in the Pacific Northwest. She then served as a public defender for three years before starting her own private law practice. Tiffany is respected by her colleagues for giving her clients a defense that is effective, relentless, and caring.

Tiffany Harris helped me get through a very uncertain and scary time in my life with the best possible outcome. She takes her position very seriously and goes above and beyond what's expected as an attorney. I'm so grateful.

Professional Approach

Facing a criminal charge is a dehumanizing and demoralizing event that extends into every aspect of a client’s life. There are legal consequences, threats to employment or professional licenses, family heartache, and personal stress. Tiffany is committed to finding not only the best legal strategy, but also to helping people maintain their dignity and humanity throughout this process. She has a unique ability to help judges and juries see the whole person, not just the accusation.

Tiffany works to repair the damage of a criminal accusation or conviction and to put her clients in the best possible position to maintain their reputations, life’s work, and long term goals.

Tiffany’s loyalty and duty of confidentiality is, first and foremost, to her client. But when clients have trusted family members and loved ones they want to involve, Tiffany will include them in case planning and discussions.

Tiffany has witnessed the ways in which the justice system can perpetuate discrimination. By listening, learning, and fighting hard, she has successfully represented clients from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, and religious traditions.

Our son was represented by Tiffany Harris in a federal case in Oregon. Even though we lived across the country, she kept us informed and up to date with all that was going on. She not only knows the law and court system, she was also very caring and understanding of this mom’s needs and feelings during the process. She went above and beyond for us and we will be forever thankful.

Tiffany's belief in a fair justice system runs in her family and fuels her work.

Tiffany’s mom, Ellen Harris, raised four kids on her own while putting herself through law school. She spent her legal career representing women in tough divorces and kids in trouble, caught in the juvenile system. Ellen passed away when Tiffany, the youngest, was still in high school. Since that time, all four of her children became lawyers, dedicated to and inspired by her legacy and commitment to social justice.

Tiffany Harris literally saved my boys' lives by building a collaborative and creative defense that even the prosecution couldn't argue against. She approached every conversation as if she was defending her own children and pulled off the impossible when no one else could. My family will never be able to thank her enough.
